A lot of damage was done to the building (not, damages). Damage is injury or harm caused while damages is the money paid or awarded to a claimant for a damage caused.

She kept saying rubbish (not, jargon). Jargon does not mean nonsensical expressions. Rather, it means the technical words used in a particular field. Example: A grammarian should know linguistic jargon.

He uses slang often (not, slangs). The word “slang” cannot be pluralised but one can say slangy expressions.
