GRAMMAR OF BUSINESS TRANSACTION

Ask her how ~much last~ (nonstandard).
Ask her for the bottom line (standard). The final offer someone will accept in a transaction is called a bottom line.

We ~argued~ for about an hour before she sold it for 1 million (nonstandard).
We haggled for about an hour before she sold it for 1 million (standard). To dispute or bargain persistently, especially over the cost of something is to haggle.
