PERSONAL PRONOUNS

  1. Subjective forms are used after conjunctions such as “as” and “than”.
    He’s taller than ~me~ (nonstandard).
    He’s taller than I (standard).
    She’s as intelligent as ~him~ (nonstandard).
    She’s as intelligent as he (standard).
  2. The objective forms are used after prepositions.
    This should remain between you and ~I~ (nonstandard).
    This should remain between you and me (standard).
