My wife is my confidante (standard). Someone’s confidante is a woman who they are able to discuss their private problems with. Note that the word is pronounced same way as confidant.
Do you think GAB has a ~fiancé~ (nonstandard)?
Do you think GAB has a fiancée (standard)? A woman to whom someone is engaged to be married is a fiancée while a man to whom a woman is engaged is a fiancé.
