TO SEIZE or TO CEASE?

English for Today Ganiu Abisoye Bamgbose (Dr GAB)

TO SEIZE or TO CEASE?

To seize is to take hold of something suddenly and forcibly:
She jumped up and seized his arm. ✔️

To cease means to stop or bring something to an end:
The trouble ceased and normal life was resumed.

So _ this opportunity to test your understanding of this lesson so that nobody says “wonders will never _” when they find out that you can’t differentiate between cease and seize.
