MAYBE or MAY BE?
Maybe is an adverb used to show that something is possible or that something might be true:
Maybe she really didn’t know anything about it.
May be is a verb phrase and it also expresses possibility but has to be separated:
She may be interested in the offer if you inform her.
Our Muslim friends may be planning to unfriend us at this time just maybe to enjoy their rams alone.
