EVERY DAY or EVERYDAY?

Every day (when written as two words) is an adverb and it means “daily” or “every weekday”. Remember that an adverb describes a verb while an adjective qualifies a noun or a pronoun.

He dances.
When does he dances?
He dances everyday. ✖️
He dances every day. ✔️

Everyday (written as a single word) is an adjective which means “to be used or seen daily”. It also means “ordinary”:
It is an occurrence.
What sort of occurrence?
It is an every day occurrence. ✖️
It is an everyday occurrence. ✔️

When it relates to verb, use the one with space, and when it relates to noun use the one without space.
