The following are words with w but without /w/ sound: bow, vow, vowel, towel, tower.

The following are words without w but with /w/ sound: one, queen, linguist, squash, quick, guava.

The following are other words in which w is silent and should not be articulated: wreck, who, whose, whore, whoremonger, sword, whole, wretched.
