THE APOSTROPHE

4. A plural noun that ends in “s” accepts apostrophe alone:
She sells boy’s shoes. ✖️
She sells boys’ shoes. ✔️

5. A plural noun that does not end in “s” attracts apostrophe and an “s”:
We are organising children’s tournament. ✔️

6. When an item belongs to two or more persons, the last person mentioned reflects the ownership:
It is Femi’s, Kunle’s and Ladi’s business. ✖️
It is Femi, Kunle and Ladi’s business. ✔️
