We had a brownout throughout yesterday (not, half current). A period of low alternating current line voltage, causing a reduction in illumination is a brownout.
That’s my weak point (not, weaking point).
Don’t go against my wishes (not, my wish). “Against my wishes” is a fixed expression, notwithstanding the number of activities being talked about.
