An alumnus is a male graduate of an institution:
Victor is an alumnus of LASU.

An alumna is a female graduate of an institution:
Sandra is an alumna of UI.

Alumni is the plural noun for a group of male graduates or male and female graduates:
Some gifts were presented to the school by the alumni.

Alumnae: This can be used for a group of female graduates:
The VC is meeting with the alumnae of the institution.
