She’s wonderful on the dancing floor (nonstandard).
She’s wonderful on the dance floor (standard).
An area in a nightclub, disco, or restaurant reserved for dancing is called a dance floor.

We need to get a toasting machine (nonstandard).
We need to get a toaster (standard).
Note too that sliced bread browned on both sides by exposure to radiant heat, such as a grill or fire is toast (not, toast bread):
I’m fine with a slice of toast (not, a slice of toast bread).
