I stand to be corrected, Nigeria is in East Africa (nonstandard).
Correct me if I’m wrong, Nigeria is in East Africa (standard).
The right expression to use when one is to make a guess is “Correct me if I’m wrong”. It is when you get corrected afterwards that you say: I stand corrected.

Be rest assured, you will get the contract (nonstandard).
Be assured, you will get the contract (standard).
Rest assured, you will get the contract (standard).
