BE, BEEN, BEING

BE is the base form and is usually used after the preposition “to” or verbs such as “will, can, should”:
It’s not easy to be at home for 5 weeks.
We should be at work next week.

BEEN is the perfective form which indicates what has been done or what would have been done at a time in the future and it is used with any of has, have and had:
We have been at home for a while.
The lockdown has been relaxed.

BEING is the progressive form which indicates an action which was, is or will be continuing and it is used with any of is, am, are, was, were:
We are being told to stay safe always.
People are being adamant to government’s directives.
