BEEN or BEING?

BEEN or BEING?

I have not ~being~ attending meetings in a while (nonstandard).
I have not *been* attending meetings in a while (standard).
*Been* should be used after *has, have, had*

You’re just ~been~ childish (nonstandard).
You’re just *being* childish (standard).
*Being* is used after *is, am, are, was, were*.
Also, avoid the common error of writing “were” as “we’re”. “We’re” is the contracted form of “we are” or “we were”:
We ~we’re~ not ready for this trouble. ❌
*We’re* not ready for this trouble. ✅
