CLARIFYING ADJECTIVES

Her house is ~further~ than mine from LASU (nonstandard).
Her house is farther than mine from LASU (standard). Further and farther are comparative forms of far. Further” is used to mean ‘additional’, while “Farther” is used to talk about distance.
I haven’t gone any further with my studies after my first degree (standard).

I have ~less~ worries than my friends (nonstandard).
I have fewer worries than my friends (standard).
“Less” describes uncountable nouns, while “fewer” describes countable nouns.
We need less talk and more work (standard).
However, “less” is used when distances and sums of money are being talked about:
It’s less than 100 miles. ✔️
He’s got an investment of less than £10,000. ✔️

He is ~more stronger~ than his brother (nonstandard).
He is stronger than his brother (standard).
The comparative form of strong is stronger so forms such “more stronger”, “more better”, “less taller” are ungrammatical.
