OFF and OF
These words are pronounced the same way by many a user of English.
However, while “off” is pronounced with the /f/ sound, “of” is pronounced with the /v/ sound.
Note too that while a name like Stephen is pronounced with the /v/ sound, and not the /f/ sound, the word, “nephew”, is pronounced with /v/ in American English and with /f/ in British English.
