Did you arrive on time or in time?

On time means at the exact or almost the exact time that was arranged:
I was invited to speak just as I got in; I was happy to be there in time. ✖️
I was invited to speak just as I got in; I was happy to be there on time. ✔️

In time means ‘early enough for something or to do something’:
I was there on time so I listened to other speakers before I was invited. ✖️
I was there in time so I listened to other speakers before I was invited. ✔️
