Your ~working experience~ doesn’t necessarily determine your competence (nonstandard).
Your work experience doesn’t necessarily determine your competence (standard).

He is going to ~resume~ as the vice chancellor tomorrow (nonstandard).
He is going to assume duty as the vice chancellor tomorrow (standard). For clarity’s sake, you are supposed to “resume” an activity, a job and the like, after it has been interrupted in times past but you “assume” a role and responsibility, among other things, for the very first time.

We need a ~staple pin~ for this stapler (nonstandard).
We need a staple for this stapler (standard). Staples are small pieces of bent wire that are used mainly for holding sheets of paper together firmly.

    Thanks for the update sir. So, on our CV, it will not be “working experience” but “work experience”. Right?
