Make sure you buy the bread from my regular customer (Nigerian English).
Make sure you buy the bread from my regular vendor (British English). A buyer, usually, does not have a customer. A customer is someone who buys goods or services, especially from a shop. Therefore, it is the seller who has the buyer as his or her customer since he makes custom (gain) from them. A vendor is someone who sells things such as newspapers, cigarettes, or food from a small stall or cart. So, a buyer can have a vendor.
