EVERYDAY or EVERY DAY?

English for Today by Ganiu Abisoye Bamgbose (Dr GAB)

EVERYDAY or EVERYDAY?

It has become part of his ~every day~ life (nonstandard).
It has become part of his *everyday* life (standard).
You use “everyday” to describe something which happens or is used every day, or forms a regular and basic part of your life, so it is not especially interesting or unusual.

I come to school ~everyday~ (nonstandard).
I come to school *every day* (standard).
NOTE: “Every day” means each day. Mainly, while “everyday” comes before a noun describing the noun, “every day” talks about the time of an occurrence and does not come immediately before a noun:
He is an ~every day~ guest.
✖️
He is an *everyday* guest. ✔️
