FEEDBACK or FEED BACK?

FEEDBACK or FEED BACK?

As a single word, feedback is a noun. If you get feedback on your work or progress, someone tells you how well or badly you are doing, and how you could improve. Note that the word is an uncountable noun so it cannot be pluralised and it cannot attract an article:
We got a positive feedback from the manager. ✖️
We got positive feedback from the manager. ✔️

We had great feedbacks from our customers. ✖️
We had great feedback from our customers. ✔️

As two words, feed back is a phrasal verb which means to offer or suggest (information, ideas, etc) in reaction to an inquiry, experiment, etc:
Reputable journals take a while to feed back on submissions. ✔️
