This work is too ~tasking~ for my liking (nonstandard).
This work is too taxing for my liking (standard).
When an activity is physically or mentally demanding, it is said to be taxing while tasking is to give a task, duty, or responsibility to a person or a group.
It’s a challenging job but I’m sure he is ~up~ to the task (nonstandard).
It’s a challenging job but I’m sure he is equal to the task (standard).
