INDEED or IN DEED?

Indeed is used after an adjective or an adverb to emphasise a statement or description:
He was indeed happy.

In deed means in what one does:
He is known for his academic commitment, both in deed and in words (standard).

Task

  1. Thank you very much __.
  2. __ he was very angry.
  3. That shouldn’t only be seen __; .
  4. That you’re good with words isn’t to say you’re nice as words don’t justify deeds.
