MATURE or MATURED?
MATURE: As an adjective, the word means to be fully developed physically; full-grown:
She is now a ~matured~ lady (nonstandard).
She is now a mature lady (standard).
MATURED: This is the past tense of the word when used as a verb to mean ‘to become fully grown’ or when it means for an investment to be come ready to be paid:
The policy matured after 25 days and I was paid.
