Mind the ‘d’: Grammar for a Comrade

Our growth is more ~secured~ with Dr Segun Adeyeri as the President of our Cooperative (nonstandard).
Our growth is more secure with Dr Segun Adeyeri as the President of our Cooperative (standard).
A thing certain to remain safe and unthreatened is secure not secured. However, when “secure” is used as a verb, it can attract the past tense marker:
He has secured people’s interest in the past.

Dr Adeyeri is a concerned and ~matured~ scholar (nonstandard).
Dr Adeyeri is a concerned and mature scholar (standard).

An intelligent man who is not ~overaged~ will deliver (nonstandard).
An intelligent man who is not overage will deliver (standard).
