Nouns without Plural Marker

Some ~folks~ will do anything for money (nonstandard).
Some folk will do anything for money (standard). Folk is a word for people in general. Note, however, that folks is sometimes used in informal conversation.

The farmer grazes ~cattles~ on this land during summer (nonstandard).
The farmer grazes cattle on this land during summer (standard). Cattle are large ruminant animals with horns and cloven hoofs, domesticated for meat or milk.

Party members should not follow their leaders like ~sheeps~ (nonstandard).
Party members should not follow their leaders like sheep (standard). Sheep is not pluralised when it refers to animals and is also used with reference to people who are too easily influenced or led.
