Pronouncing words in English
Do you know that:
1. The “a” in dwarf is pronounced like the “a” in call
2. The “o” in story and glory are pronounced like the “a” in call
3. The “s” in base, basis, basic and kerosene are pronounced as /s/; not as /z/.
4. The “a” in message, village and the last a in passage are pronounced like the “i” in ink.
