The electorate have their choice to make today (standard). All the people in a country or area who are entitled to vote in an election are electorate (without the plural form).
Nigerian politicians cross carpet easily (nonstandard).
Nigerian politicians defect easily (standard).
Voting right can boost our reputation in the committee of nations (nonstandard).
