PERSONAL PRONOUNS

Caution must be exercised in using pronouns such as: I, me, you, he, she, they, him, her and us which are called personal pronouns. The following rules should be applied in deploying the pronouns:

  1. Subjective forms (I, she, he, we, they) should be used in the subject/doer position:
    He is happy.
    They sing well.
  2. The objective forms (me, her, him, us, them) are used after action verbs:
    My friends know him .
    We visited her .
    …to be continued.
