Showing Possessions with Apostrophe

  1. Singular nouns without s ending attract apostrophe and s: Kunle’s bag, the boy’s wristwatch.
  2. Singular nouns with s ending attract the apostrophe alone or apostrophe and an s: James’ bag ✅
    James’s bag ✅
  3. Singular nouns with two S’s, usually withone at the middle and the other at the end (like Jesus and Moses) attract only the apostrophe:
    In Jesus’ name ✅
    In Jesus’s name ❌
    In Jesus name ❌
