SOMETIME, SOMETIMES, SOME TIME

SOMETIME as an adverb means an unspecified time and as an adjective it means at an unknown time or happening occasionally: He was the sometime editor of the journal.

SOMETIMES is an adverb and it means occasionally: Sometimes, we want to do things on our own.

SOME TIME, as a noun phrase, could mean a period of time or quite a while: I think we need some time.
