Still on Apostrophe and Possession

  1. When items are separately owned by different persons, each person takes ownership of hers or his:
    Kunle’s, Femi’s and Wale’s cars are parked out there.
  2. When there is ownership within ownership, all the instances of ownership must be reflected:
    My uncle’s wife’s friend is here.
  3. When “someone else” is to reflect possession, apostrophe and s come after “else”.
    Don’t take someone else’s thing. ✅
    Don’t take someone’s else thing. ❌
