TAG FORMATION
- When there is no auxiliary verb in a sentence, do, does or did forms the tag:
GAB teaches daily- doesn’t he?
They know one another- don’t they?
They arrived late- didn’t they?
He dropped it here- didn’t he? - Has, have and had form the tag when they are used with another verb but do, does or did forms the tag when has, have and had are used alone:
He has finished- hasn’t he?
He has money- doesn’t he?
… to be continued.
