Grammatical mistakes

Do you know these: Public opinion is influenced by the small elite who control the media (not, elites). Elite means a group of people who are powerful and influential; it doesn’t attract “s”. The “e” in the word is pronounced like letter a and the “lite” is pronounced as /li:t/, not /lait/. She needs new underwear (not, underwears). Underwear is an uncountable noun and can’t take an “s”. This boy is riff-raff (not, a riff-raff). Riff-raff is an uncountable noun; it can not take the article “a”. GAB
