USING WORDS WITH EXACTNESS

He addressed the issue from several ~ramifications~ (nonstandard).
He addressed the issue from several dimensions/perspectives (standard).
Note that “ramifications” are the possible results or consequences of implications of an action:
I am not sure you have thought of the ramifications (consequences) of your action. ✔️

He stays just across the road; his house is ~adjacent~ to mine (nonstandard).
He stays just across the road; his house is opposite mine (standard). Two things are adjacent when they are very near, next to, or touching each other.

She likes ~lanky~ men whose muscles are well-built (nonstandard).
She likes hefty men whose muscles are well-built (standard). A lanky person is tall and thin and often moves awkwardly as a result:
I last saw him as a lanky teenager. ✔️
