If you round off an activity with something, you end the activity by doing something that provides a clear or satisfactory conclusion to it. Meanwhile, If the police or army round up a number of people, they arrest or capture them and If you round up animals or things, you gather them together.
You need to buckle ~up~ to work if you must perform well (nonstandard).
You need to buckle down to work if you must perform well (standard). If you buckle down to something, you start working seriously at it. However, when you buckle up in a car or a plane, you fasten your seat belt.
